In 2019 the Year 6 SATs test outcomes were:

  • 90% achieved the expected standard in reading (the national figure was 73%)
  • 80% achieved the expected standard in writing (the national figure was 78%)
  • 90% achieved the expected standard in grammar, punctuation and spelling (the national figure was 78%)
  • 80% achieved the expected standard in maths (the national figure was 79%)
  • 80% achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined (the national figure was 65%)
  • Average progress between the end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 was +3.3 in reading, +0.2 in writing and +1.8 maths.
  • Average scaled score reading – 108
  • Average scaled score in maths – 107
  • 20% achieved the higher standard in reading (the national figure was 27%)
  • 20% achieved greater depth in writing  (the national figure was 20%)
  • 40% achieved the higher standard in maths (the national figure was 27%)
  • 40% achieved the higher standard in GPS (the national figure was 36%)

  • 27% achieved the higher standard in GPS (the national figure was 36%)
